Where is BridgeView located?
We are located at 900 Neyland Drive, on the Tennessee
River just behind downtown Knoxville. The venue is on the
3rd floor (top level) of Boathouse, directly adjacent to
Neyland Stadium.
What is the overall ambience at BridgeView?
Being directly on the water is a huge part of the
overall BridgeView atmosphere. While the waterfront location
provides an upscale backdrop, the actual facility and
BridgeView staff can create any experience your event
requires. From a modest affair to a chic cocktail party, the
versatility of BridgeView makes it perfect for any type of
event.
Does BridgeView have an exclusive vendor for catering?
UT Catering is the exclusive food & beverage provider
for Bridgeview at the Boathouse. No outside food or beverage
of any kind, with the exception of cakes, is allowed into
the facility without approval from the Catering Director.
Any exceptions will be agreed upon and included in contract
prior to event.
What is our date guarantee policy?
We guarantee not to double book for your date and time.
Upon receipt of payment and contract, your party has
exclusive rights to the usage of BridgeView.
Does BridgeView have an all inclusive rate?
While we do not have an all-inclusive package, we do
offer menu and beverage packages, as well as holiday
selections, for quick and easy event planning.
How much does it cost to rent BridgeView?
The flat rate to rent the entire facility is $200 per
hour.

What is the deposit amount and when is it
due?
We require a 25% deposit which secures your date and
facility usage. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior
to event date. Any changes which incur additional charges
are due prior to event start time.
What is the average price of a catered event
at BridgeView?
All catering is priced based upon food selections and
guest count. The average cost is approximately $20-$50 per
person.
Is there a minimum guest number or catering
dollar amount to rent BridgeView?
A minimum of 30 people, with a catering minimum of $500
is required for any event at BridgeView. These minimums are
set to cover food cost, facility and energy charges, and
labor charges. The catering minimum is in addition to the
facility rental fees.
What additional costs should I expect?
We charge an operations fee of 20% on all food and
beverage charges. If you will be serving alcoholic beverages
at your event, the fee is $35 per bartender per hour.
*BridgeView requires one bartender for every 50-75 people,
depending on event
**The operations fee is not intended to be a tip, gratuity,
or service fee for the benefit of the employees.
Accordingly, no gratuities are accepted for UT Catering and
Bridgeview events.
-A mandatory 9.25% TN State Sales Tax applies to all food
and beverage fees at BridgeView.
How to I submit my payment?
We accept the following forms of payment: cash, Visa,
MasterCard, American Express or Money Order. You can call
our Catering Sales office at 865-974-2406 to make payment or
inquire about billing. We do not accept personal checks.
